Who is My Time for?
You know that woman who keeps going no matter what life throws at her? That mom who
makes a way for her children without the help of a husband....just her and God? You
know, that young lady you go to church with who is trying to turn her life around. The
woman in your class who just had a nasty divorce and is raising three kids by herself. You
know, YOU!
We have got to stop being ashamed, feeling burdened and holding our heads down. You
are taking care of your family alone, doing the work of two people. All the while you have
to deal with the negative image of mothers who are just making the best of a less than
perfect situation. Say this is my time and take back the honor in motherhood and be
recognized for who you are and what you do.
My Time is for us independent moms to get away, get pampered and appreciated for doing
whatever it takes to get the job done. In doing this, we are earning money to send another
independent mom to college.
